Abstract
As a new mode of teacher education, TDS (Teacher Development School) is a new exploration in teaching concept and practice based on the cooperation between universities and elementary and secondary schools. This paper analyzes TDS' development and the existing problems.In addition,it analyzes the advantages of PDS in the U.S. and then proposes the following ideas for the improvement of TDS in Chi- na:reforming the ways of cooperation, changing education philosophy,changing the traditional education concept and the role of teachers,inte- grating theory and practice,and focusing on the training of interns.关键词
