摘要

Abstract

There is not any quantitative determination method for the illegal use of fluorescent whitening agent in our national standards by now. In this article, a method for the determination of triazin amino stilbene-type fluorescent whitening agents (FWAs) in food (most are fungus, starch) by HPLC was developed. The fluorescent whitening agents were determined by ion-pair high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with fluorescence detector applying Tetrabutylammonium Hydrogen Sulfate as the ion-pairing reagent in mobile phase. The method enables quantitation of o.l mg/kg to 100 mg/kg of FWAs with linear relationship R2 of 0.9995. The limit of detection was 5 μg/L and the recovery rates are between 87.1% and 92.5 %.
