Screening of a Strain for Producing Protein Feed via Fermentation of Wet Camellia Cake
摘要
Abstract
In this paper, the fermentation of protein feed was studied, using wet camellia cake as raw material and wheat bran as auxiliary material. Mold and yeast were selected by single strain test. The best results were achieved by combination of Candida ttvpicalis and Aspergillus oryzae As33. The optimal fermentation conditions were: ratio of Candida tropicalis to Aspergillus oryzae 1:1 and total inoculation concentration 10%. The content of crude protein was improved from 18.24% to 30.02%, after solid-state fermentation and followed by heated to constant-weight at 80 ℃. The fermented product had a sweet smell of yeast with a pleasant taste and an improved palatability greatly.关键词
