Abstract
Objective:To investigate the genotypic diversity in 7 EPEC O128∶ K67(B12)isolates from raw milk samples and cow dung samples collected in 9 cattle farms in Tianjin city and 9 cattle farms in Baoding city. Methods:PFGE was used to study genotypic variability of the 7 EPEC O128∶ K67(B12)isolates obtained. Results:For these isolates,when XbaI was used to chromosomal DNA digestion followed by PFGE analysis,17~20 genomic fragments were separated in each PFGE profile obtained. And the 7 strains were divided into 3 clusters by the dendrogram analysis of all the PFGE profiles obtained. Conclusions:7 EPEC O128∶ K67(B12)strains were divided into 3 clusters,and strains of each cluster had no close relationship with those of another. There was no evidence that the strains of any cluster were prevalent. In addition,PFGE as a prospective method for sub typing pathogens and analyzing the homology of the pathogens in raw milk was shown to be highly discriminating,reliable,feasible,and advanced.关键词
