Abstract
【Objective】To investigate the effect of Bcl-xl and p53 gene on BGC-823 cells proliferation and apoptosis induced by Porphyra yezoensis polysaccharide.【Method】 BGC-823 cells were treated with various of Porphyra yezoensis polysaccharide.We detected the rate of cell proliferation inhibition by MTT assay and the levels of Bcl-xl and p53 gene expression by RT-PCR.We detected cell cycle and cell apoptosis by flow cytometry.【Result】Porphyra yezoensis polysaccharide could effectively inhibit the BGC-823 cells proliferation and induce apoptosis,and it could effectively decrease the level of Bcl-xl gene expression and recrease the level of p53 gene expression.【Conclusion】Porphyra yezoensis polysaccharide could inhibite the BGC-823 cells proliferation and induce apoptosis of BGC-823 cells probably through down regulating Bcl-xl gene expression and up regulating p53 gene expression.关键词
