Abstract
The corn yellow pigment was extracted from corn protein powder,which was the by-product in starch plant.This paper studied a technological route of extracting corn pigment from corn protein powder with different organic solvent,and the optimum factor and the technological conditions were determined by the mono-factor and the orthogonal experiment.The results showed that the temperature could have a greater impact on extraction of the corn pigment than time and ratio of material to liquid.The optimum technological condition by solvent was that alcohol was used as the extraction reagent,the extraction temperature was 70℃,the time was 1.5h,the ratio of material to liquid is 1:15,and the yield of yellow pigment was 56.84%.关键词
