摘要

Abstract

Based on multiresolution analysis in wavelet transform, the method of distinction between the power oscillations and short-circuit was studied. Wavelet analysis could effectively extract the useful voltage and current signal components. Wavelet energy method was put up, which distinguish between the power oscillations and short-circuit. The toolbox of PSB set was MATLAB was used to establish simulation model for system oscillations and fault currents. The Wavelet energy of the power oscillations and short-circuit was obtained through wavelet energy method. The test results showed that wavelet energy method was easy to done and could effectively distinguish between the power system oscillations and short-circuit. The wavelet energy method was extremely practicable for distinguish between the power system oscillations and short-circuit.
