Effect of silver terminal electrode on the inductance of multilayer chip ferrite inductor

Abstract
The effects of three types of silver terminal electrodes on the inductance of multilayer chip ferrite inductor were studied using a RF impedance/material analyzer, XRD and SEM. The results show that the inductance reduction of the inductor after plating increases with increasing silver content in the silver terminal electrode. For the inductor with a silver terminal electrode made from the AG78 slurry containing w(silver) 99.49%, a size of 1.6 mm × 0.8 mm × 0.8 mm and an inductance of (10±0.1) μH, its maximum inductance reduction after plating reaches 15.38%.关键词
