摘要

Abstract

This paper describes the application of hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry (CF-HGAFS) for the determination of inorganic arsenic in four main commercial shellfish species in Zhoushan city, Zhejiang province. Besides, their food safety was assessed. Inorganic arsenic contents in the edible parts of clam, razor clam, oyster and mussel found to be in the range of 138 -- 0.191, 0.112 - 0.171, 0.067 - 0.163, 0.070 - 0.168 mg/kg respectively, were consistent with the national food hygiene standards and inorganic arsenic intakes from them were below the WHO/FAO JECFA recommended acceptable daily intake (ADI) of 129μag per person per day.
