植物乳杆菌K25发酵乳降低小鼠血清胆固醇的作用研究
Cholesterol-lowering Effect of Yogurt Fermented with Lactobacillus plantarum K25 in Mice

Abstract
In this study, the effect of milk fermented with Lactobacillus plantarum K25, a strain isolated from Tibetan kefir, on blood cholesterol level in mice fed high-fat diet (HFD) was investigated. The results showed that the levels of total serum cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and atherosclerotic index of mice fed the fermented milk significantly decreased compared to control mice, while L. plantarum K25 did not change serum triglyceride level in mice. Compared to control mice, the count of lactobacilli in the feces of mice fed L. plantamm K25 was significantly increased, with no significant changes in Escherichia coli population. Conclusion: The fermented milk containing L. plantarum K25 could lower serum cholesterol level and increase the lactobaciUi population in the intestine of HFD-fed mice.关键词
