摘要

Abstract

To find an accurate and effective method to determine the monosaccharide composition of poiysaccharide from abalone gonad (AGP-32). Thin layer chromatography. gas chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography were used to determine the monosaccharide composition of AGP-32. Results: Method of high performance liquid chromatography had good resolution, and it was suitable to simultaneous analyses of neutral, acidic and alkaline monosaccharide. The monosaccharide composition of AGP-32 which i-dentified by this method was Man = Rha;GlcA , GalA ' Glc '- Gal: Xyl = Fuc = 0.79s 2.05 : 1.6= 0.58 , 0.09: 4.91 , 0. 11 , 0.34. Conclusion: High performance liquid chromatography is more suitable than other chromatographic methods to complicated monosaccharide composition analysis of poiysaccharide such as abalone gonad poiysaccharide.
