摘要

Abstract

Taking the litchi seed as raw material, after crushing, water extracts of Litchi seeds were prepared by using traditional Chinese medicine decoction. Antioxidant activities of water extracts were evaluated by determining reducing capacity, total antioxidant capacity and free radical scavenging ability of water extracts against DPPH · 、 ·OH and 02‐· . At the same time, antibacterial acti ities were studied through the detemination of the antibacterial circle diameter and minimum inhibitory concentration. The results showed that water extracts had better antioxidant activities. The IC50 values of water extracts against DPPH · 、 · OH and 02‐ · . wereO. 1819mg/mL、 16. 3652mg/mL and 31. 6767mg/mL, respectively. Water extract showed some reducing ability and total antioxidant capacity. Water extracts had better antibacterial acti ities against Staphylococcus aureus. The antibacterial circle diameter was 8. 8 ±0. 58mm when the concentration of water extract was3. 125%. The smallest antibacterial concentration was 6.25%,
