Optimization of Refluxing Extraction for Saponins and Flavonoids from Aralia continentalis

摘要

Abstract

On the basis of single factor tests, response surface methodology based on Box-Behnken design principle was used to optimize the process parameters of refluxing extraction for saponins and flavonoids from Aralia continentalis, respectively. Results showed that the optimal extraction conditions for saponins were ethanol concentration of 80%, material-liquid ratio of 1:65 (g/mL), extraction time of 2 h and extraction temperature of 94.1℃; the optimal extraction conditions for flavonoids were ethanol concentration of 60%, material-liquid ratio of 1:60, extraction time of 4 h and extraction temperature of 100℃. The yields of saponins and flavonoids were 74.65 mg/g and 19.86 rag/g, respectively, which were consistent with the predicted values of 70.25 mg/g and 20.56 mg/g.
