摘要

Abstract

Phenolic acid exists widely in plants, a large number of studies have shown that phenolic acid have antioxi-dant, anticancer and other biological activity. Citrus peel is rich in phenolic acids, however, the extraction and separation of phenolic acids were little reported. In this paper the chemical properties, extraction, purification and biological activity of phenolic acid compounds from orange peel were reviewed. The future research direction and development prospect of orange peel were put forward. It provides the reference for the better comprehensive use of citrus.
