Abstract
Objective: To discuss the value of multi-slice spiral CT angiography in diagnosing intestine volvulus. Methods: The CT materials of 14 cases with intestinal volvulus which were diagnosed by abdominal multi-spiral CT angiography and proved by operations were retrospectively analyzed. Images reconstruction including multiplanar reformation (MPR), volume rendering (VR), and intensity projection were adopted. Results: All the 14 cases were diagnosed accurately, and the main signs were "whirlpool" of vessels (14 cases), "whirlpool" of intestine (14 cases), "beak sign" (10 cases), edema (8 cases), and edema (7 cases). Conclusion: Multislice spiral CT angiography can demonstrate the mesenteric vessels intuitively, clearly, and can show "'whirlpool" of the superior mesenteric vein, which has important value to the diagnosis of the intestinal volvulus.关键词
