A Self-Study on Teacher Educators： A New Way to Improve Quality of Teacher Education

Abstract
The teacher educators play a central role in teacher education. In China it is a bit difficult to confirm teacher educators＇ identity. The self-study of teacher educators is a new trend of professionalization of teacher education in US. It focuses on teaching practices of teacher educators who provide instructional activities for teachersf professional development, and is becoming a new way to improve teacher education quality. As a concept borrowed from Western countries, ＂teacher educator＂ should be paid more attention in China.关键词
