Abstract
【Objective】 To evaluate the nutritional status of the elderly hospitalized patients using NRS2002 and MNA-SF,and to confirm the correlation of NRS2002 and MNA-SF with classical nutritional markers.【Method】 The survey was conducted among 162 patients newly admitted to the departments of gastroenterology,respiratory,neurology,cardiology,nephrology.Anthropometric and biochemical parameters were determined and calculated,including body mass index(BMI),hemoglobin(HB),total protein(TP),albumin(ALB),creatinine(CR),urea nitrogen(BUN),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),and so on.The correlation between the two methods and classical markers was compared.【Result】 According to Spearman correlation analysis,NRS2002 had significantly negative correlation with BMI,CC,AMC,ALB and HB(P0.05).MNA-SF had significant positive correlation with BMI,CC,AMC,ALB and HB(P0.05).There was no significant correlation between NRS2002 and MNA-SF and TP,CR,BUN,TG,and TC.【Conclusion】 NRS2002 and MNA-SF could be used as the methods of nutritional assessment of elderly hospitalized patients of internal medicine.关键词
