Abstract
In order to investigate removal efficiencies of B [a] P and phenol in cigarette mainstream smoke by 3 kinds of zeolites,different contents of NaA,NaY and NaX were respectively added to tobacco.And then B [a]P in mainstream smoke was detected by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS),while phenol was detected with high performance liquid chromatographic(HPLC).The results showed that different types of zeolites adsorbed different percents of B[a] P and phenol in mainstream smoke.Additions of zeolites had effects on the absorptions.As optimal contents of zeolites were added,the removal efficiencies of B[a] P were varied in following order:NaX ≈NaY > NaA.As phenol,the order was NaX > NaY ≈ NaA.When NaX zeolite were added by 3% ~4% weight of tobacco,removal efficiency of B[a] P and phenol in mainstream smoke was optimum,which was 24% ~26%.There was some difference between removal mechanisms of polar substance,phenol,and non-polar substance,B[a] P,in the cigarette mainstream smoke.关键词
