Abstract

In order to reduce the filling content of spherical Ni/Al grain and to improve the shielding effectiveness of the Ni/Al type conductive silicone rubber, Ni/C fiber was selected to be added into the conductive rubber, and the electrical conductivity and shielding performance of the rubber were evaluated. The results show that the rubber added Ni/C fiber can effectively improve the conductivity and shielding performance. When the total quantity of Ni/C and Ni/Al is 130 phr, the volume resistivity of the rubber decreases from 1010Ω·cm to 1.4Ω·cm. When the total quantity of Ni/C and Ni/Al is 240 phr, the shielding effectiveness of the rubber could be more than 90 dB within 1.0-2.5 GHz band, and the shielding effectiveness of the rubber without doping is just more than 60 dB. Furthermore, uniform face-centered cubic close structure model was used to calculate the minimum distance between particles, and the results show that there are certain connections between percolation thresholds of the rubber and the minimum distance between particles.
