Design of a novel UWB printed antenna with curved slots
摘要
Abstract
A new ultra-wideband (UWB) printed antenna with curved slots was designed. This antenna was constructed by a symmetrical eyes-shaped structure as the radiation surface, and a rectangle-shaped structure with two symmetrical quarters-circle-shaped slots and one half-circle-shaped slot as the ground surface, which was fed by four microstrip lines for impedance matching. Based on the optimized parameters, the antenna was fabricated and its performance was evaluated. The results show that the bandwidth of the antenna can be increased to 2.3–3.9 GHz (return loss<–10 dB) and the relative bandwidth can reach to 51.6%. The designed antenna shows a good radiation performance, meeting the performance requirements of ultra-wideband antenna.关键词
