Abstract

A new method of realizing high-performance capacitor-loaded bandpass filter based on LTCC technology was proposed. By loading capacitance at both ends of the strip line, the resonator achieved miniaturization. At the same time, through the cross coupling, two transmission zeros were introduced to realize the steep attenuation of the side-band, which also greatly improved the stopband attenuation of the filter. Then the model was optimized by the 3D simulation software HFSS. The measured results match well with the simulation results. The center frequency is 4.75 GHz with the bandwidth of 500 MHz, the stopband attenuation is better than 35 dB from 2.6 GHz to 4.1 GHz and 5.4 GHz to 6.9 GHz, size is only 3.2 mm × 2.5 mm × 1.5 mm.
