Abstract
Doll's theory of"4R" refers to richness,recursive,relational,rigorous.The middle school English teaching based on the"4R"theory is a special teaching instruction form that viewed from the post-modern thinking mode.It advocates the characteristics of innovation,de-centralization,democracy and diversity by focusing on emergent teaching aims,developmental teaching idea,mutual teaching process and scien-tific teaching evaluation."4R"theory plays an instructive role in middle school English teaching,teachers' teaching wisdom,teaching mode as well as the reform of teaching evaluation.关键词
