摘要

Abstract

Study in America using the remission of the boxer indemnity began in 1909 ,the indemnity students went abroad in the period of national difficulties and under the strong military attack of western countries ,and they consciously completed self construction in study .By fo-cusing on the development trends at home and abroad ,they constantly enhance the image of the people ,continuously upgrade the image of the people ,and through the establishment of academic associations ,and participating in the social activities of the United States ,they completed the construction of the social role of themselves .They used what they had learned to transform China’s backward side ,to promote the development of China’s science and technology and humanities ,and made positive efforts to promote the modernization of education in china .
