摘要

Abstract

A novel ultra-wideband monopole antenna was proposed. The below semicircle of classic cyclo molopole of the antenna was replaced by two flip trapezoids. The proposed antenna was simulated and optimized by using the software Ansoft HFSS. The results show impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 2.48–15.23 GHz, that covers the bandwidth of the UWB communication system. The return lossS11 is less than or equal to –10 dB and the VSWR is less than or equal to 2 in the frequency range of 2.48–15.23 GHz. The proposed antenna possesses stable oriented radiation and meets the requirement of UWB communication system.
