Abstract

The optimum extraction conditions of Trichosanthes kirilowii maxim seed oil (TSO) were optimized by single factor and orthogonal test using hydraulic cold pressing,and its fatty acids composition,physical chemical properties and antioxidant activity was analyzed.It was found that the optimum extraction conditions were as follows:moisture content 5%,pressing presure 40 MPa,pressing at 60 ℃ for 50 min.Under those conditions,the extraction rate was 28.64% ±0.12%.The main unsaturated fatty acid content of TSO was 89.06%,including linoleic acid (41.54% ± 0.11%),oleic acid (29.63 % ± 0.07 %) and punicic acid(17.89% ± 0.30%).The acid value (0.44 ± 0.03) (KOH) mg/g,peroxide value (0.06 ± 0.00) g/100 g and other indicators of TSO conformed to hygienic standard for edible vegetable oil.The IC50 values of the TSO extracts were (0.25 ± 0.01) mg/mL,and the DPPH radical scavenging rate of 89.50%-± 1.04% was observed at the concentration of 100 mg/mL.The optimization of TSO extraction process technology could increase oil recovery,improve oil quality,and TSO had stronger antioxidant activity.
