Lithium ion battery is considered as the most ideal energy storage and conversion method due to its high energy density,high specific capacity,no memory effect and non-pollution.The improvement of battery performance mainly depends on the further development of cathode materials.The latest research achievements of several important cathode materials were introduced,pointing out that the composite cathode materials would be the development trend.
