Progress in tunable dielectric resonator antennas

Abstract
Tunable dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is one hot topic in the field of current wireless communication.In this paper,the development history and recent status of tunable DRA are introduced.The currem research methods of tunable DRA are summarized and analyzed.Besides,the tunable techniques for loading parasitic conductors,loading parasitic slots,using liquid media,increasing the air band gap,using special dielectric materials,and using switch (switching) devices are introduced.Finally,the advantages and disadvantages of the tuning technology are analyzed.关键词
