摘要

Abstract

A novel three feeds circularly polarized microstrip antenna was proposed in this paper. The antenna feeding network was realized using a one-three power divider to enhance the rotational symmetry of circularly polarized radiation of the microstrip patch antenna. The proposed antenna element was arranged into a 3×4 array using sequentially rotated technique to effectively improve the array gain scanning performance. The array radiation and polarization performance during beam scanning was investigated as well. The simulation results indicate that the array beam can be steered in the elevation up to 60° at the center of the operating frequency. The gain of no less than 11.9 dBi and the axis ratio (AR) of no more than 2 dB are obtained within the scanning angles.
