摘要

Abstract

It is well known that L-arabinose is a natural sweetener with zero calories;it can inhibit sucrase activity in an uncompetitive manner.It has been validated to be able to suppress the elevation of blood glucose and insulin after an acute ingestion of sucrose.This research described an environmentally friendly and economically feasible method for the extraction of L-arabinose from maize bran by using acidic electrolyzed water as the catalytic medium.This method overcomes the problems with traditional inorganic acid hydrolization method,such as complicated technique,high requirement on equipment and environmental pollution.The extraction conditions were optimized by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment.15.49% L-arabinose was obtained when destarched maize bran was treated under optimized conditions as follow:hydrolyzed at 180 ℃ for30 min,with AEW at pH 2.0 and a solid to liquid ratio of 1 ∶ 40.
