PEG、GA3和AsA对高温老化处理高粱种子的修复作用
Repairing Effects of PEG, GA3 and AsA on Aged Sorghum Seeds Treated by High Temperature

Abstract
Seed vigor is one of the i mportant indicators showing the seed quality. The vitality of the aged seeds of sorghum declines with the aging degree, resulting in the reduction of germination rate and storage capacity. The seeds of sorghum hybrids Jiza 123 and Jiza 127 were used as experimental materials, which were treated under the condition of temperature (50±2) ℃, relative humidity 100% for 2, 4, 6 and 8 d, respectively, for artificial aging treatment. The artificially aged sorghum seeds were then treated with 20% PEG, 500 mg·L-1 GA3 and 500 mg·L-1AsA solutions respectively for seed repairing to determine the effect of different repairing methods on the germination characteristics of aged sorghum seeds. The germination parameters were all improved by the 3 repairing reagents. The germination rate, germination potential, germination index and vigor index of sorghum seeds were all significantly different (p<0.01) from those of the CK after treatment with each of the 3 repairing methods, with the best improvement for the germination rate. After repair treatment, the germination rate of sorghum hybrid Jiza 123 aging seeds was 1.56 times higher compared to the CK, the germination rate of sorghum hybrid Jiza 127 aging seeds was 79% higher compared to CK, with higher degree of aging repair effect for more aged seeds. The seeds of two sorghum hybrids responded differently to the different repairing agents. After treatment with each of the 3 kinds of repairing methods, the electrical conductivity, MDA content and soluble sugar content of Jiza 123 and Jiza 127 decreased, while POD activity increased to a certain extent. The changes of the parameters reflected the physiological mechanisms of seed repair. For the comprehensive indicators, AsA is the best reagent for repairing the aged sorghum seeds, followed by PEG. Meanwhile, AsA is also cheaper in price, therefore is a kind of good repairing reagent in the practical and economic consideration.关键词
