摘要

Abstract

To establish a swift and convenient method for the determination of propionate acid and its salts by gas chromatography(GC).DB-FFAP capillary chromatographic column was chosen as the separation column, and hydrogen FID was adopted for determination of propionate acid.Some researches on the sample pretreatment were developed by reference to national standard methods.The results showed that linear relationship between values of peak and mass concentration of propionate acid was kept in the range of 49.88-299.27 mg/L with a correlation coe?cient of 0.999. The average recoveries ranged from 86.3 to 93.0%, and detection limit was 0.02 g/kg.This method by optimization condition is swift, convenient, high sensitivity and accurate, thus it is suitable for determination of propionate acid and its salts in food.
