Enrichment of polyunsaturated fatty acids extraction in fish oil from Silver Carp by urea inclusion method

Abstract
Using fish oil from Silver Carp (ethyl ester) as raw materials,polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) extraction was enriched by urea inclusion method.The optimal process conditions were determined through single factor and orthogonal experiments.The optimum conditions were as follows:the volume-to-mass ratio of ethanol-to-urea was 6∶1 (mL∶ g),the mass ratio of fish oil-to urea was 0.3∶ 1,the inclusion temperature was 10 ℃ and the inclusion time was 3 h.Under the optimal condition,the total content of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and decosahexaenoic acid (DHA) reached 73.67% from 23.09% and the PUFAs recovery was 22.93%.关键词
