Research progress in grain size effect on property modulation of bismuth ferrite thin films
摘要
Abstract
Bismuth ferrite is the only single phase multiferroic material which shows ferroelectricity and antiferromagnetic properties at room temperature at present.It attracted much attentions because of its abundant physical properties and broad application prospects.Although it possesses large remanent polarization,relatively small band gap and large light absorption coefficient theoretically,it is difficult to prepare bismuth ferrite material with good property due to the effect of many factors such as grain size effect.Therefore,it is very important to study the effect of grain size in order to improve the properties of BFO films and obtain practical application.Yet the influence of grain size on the properties (such as ferroelectricity,dielectric properties,leakage resistance,optical properties and magnetic properties,etc) of BFO films is complicated,there is no unified conclusion how each property changes with the grain size actually.In view of this,this paper summarizes the research how the grain size regulate the properties of BFO films in recent years at home and abroad,and some research problems at the present stage are put forward.关键词
