一种透射型线-圆极化转换超表面设计
Design of a transparent linear-to-circular polarization conversion metasurface

Abstract
A transparent polarization conversion metasurface was presented for designing of wide band circular polarized microstrip slot antenna.It was composed of square units with a single diagonal slot.The metasurface's working mechanism of converting linear to circular polarization was analyzed by equivalent circuits,and the parameters of the metasurface were swept according to their influence on the 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth.Simulated results show that the linearly polarized microstrip slot antenna can radiate circularly polarized wave and its impedance bandwidth is broaden by loading the metasurface.The relative impedance bandwidth and 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth can reach 33.2% and 19.5%,respectively.The antenna gains are higher than 6.8 dBi within the impedance bandwidth.It is indicated that the new metasurface has good linear-to-circular polarization conversion characteristics.关键词
