摘要

Abstract

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) plays important roles in the food industry,agriculture,and animal husbandry,and it is closely related to human health,thereby becoming a hot topic in the field.At the same time,with the development of high-throughput sequencing technologies,population genomics has become a powerful tool for correlating microbial phenotype and genotype.This approach has gradually been applied to the research of LAB.This paper reviews the local and overseas researches relating to the application of population genomics in studying LAB,particularly in the aspects of bacterial classification and evolution,environmental adaptation,and production features.
