摘要

Abstract

With polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and carboxyl-modified polyvinyl alcohol (CMPVA) being used as the polymer matrix, polyvinyl alcohol potassium borate (PVAPB) hydrogel electrolyte (HGE) and carboxyl-modified polyvinyl alcohol potassium borate (CMPVAPB) HGE were prepared on the surface of active carbon electrode by in situ electrodeposition, respectively. Structure, morphology, thermal stability and electrochemical performance of two kinds of HGEs were studied and compared. Results show that the two kinds of HGEs all possess stable chemical structure, and show good thermostability and excellent electrochemical performance. The CMPVAPB HGE has better compatibility with salt and higher salt concentration than PVAPB GPE. The ionic conductivity (1.23×10–3S/cm) and specific capacitance (94.9 F/g) of the supercapacitor (SC) assembled with CMPVAPB HGE is higher than that of the SC assembled with PVAPB HGE (1.11×10–3S/cm and 90.6 F/g).
