Abstract

The paper studied the isolation and purification of retinol palmitate synthesized by immobilized lipase with retinyl acetate and palmitic acid as substrates.Higher purity retinol palmitate was obtained using freezing crystallization and extraction.The technological processes were as follows:firstly,the reaction solution was placed at 4 ℃ for 20 h and then changed the temperature to-20 ℃ for another 8 h to get rid of the excessive palmitic acid.Then,the liquid-liquid extraction was done for further purification.The extraction solvent was 84% ethanol/distilled water:petroleum ether (3:1),the extraction temperature was 4 ℃,the extraction cycle was 4.After extraction,the purity of retinol palmitate reached 98.3%.This work provided technical basis for the production of retinol palmitate.
