摘要

Abstract

This essay was aim to isolate,pufificate and partial characterize the proteins with antifungal activity from the small red beans.A protein with antifungal activity was isolated and purified from small red beans by the procedure containing extraction,ammonium sulfate precipitation,Affi-gel blue gel chromatography,ion-exchange chromatography,and gel filtration chromatography.SDS-PAGE was used to analysis its purity and molecular weight.The result showed that the antifungal protein isolated and purified from small red beans exhibited a molecular mass of 4 kDa in SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.Antifungal activity experiment showed that the protein had a strong inhibitory activity towards the growth of Fusarium oxysporum from eggplant,muskmelon and bitter gourd.An antifungal protein with a molecular mass of 4 kDa was isolated from small red beans.It exerted inhibitory activity on Fusarium oxysporum and had a high dependence on the concentration of protein.
