摘要

Abstract

This paper used apricot shell as precursor to prepare active carbon electrode material by means of high temperature carbonization and surface oxidation modification. Scanning electron microscopy was used to characterize the morphology; three electrode electrochemical system with 2 mol/L KOH solution was used as electrolyte to test the electrochemical performance of materials, including cyclic voltammograms, constant current charging and discharging, electrochemical impedance, and cycle stability test and analysis. The results show that the modified carbon with nitric acid oxidation shows enhanced electrochemical performance. The specific capacitance of 196 F/g is obtained at the current density of 0.5 A/g. After cycling for 2 500 times at the current density of 2 A/g, the capacitance retention rate still remain 99% of the initial value, showing excellent electrochemical performance stability.
