摘要

Abstract

Barium titanate is widely used in electronic components such as multilayer ceramic capacitors(MLCC) due to its excellent electrical properties. The powders traditional preparation process of high energy consumption and wastewater problems can not be effectively resolved. Submicron BaTiO3powders with uniform spherical morphology were synthesized by solid state reaction at low temperature, in which, barium hydroxide octahydrate(Ba(OH)2·8H2O) and meta-titanic acid (H2TiO3) were used as the raw materials. Then the effects of ball milling process(grinding speed, grinding time) and synthetic process(reaction temperature, reaction time) on the properties of barium titanate were studied. The crytal phase composition, morphology and particle size of the product were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The results show that the cubic phase barium titanate with high crystallinity and uniform particle size can be obtained when the raw materials are ground at 700 r/min for 5 h and then kept at 100 ℃ for 3 h.
