摘要

Abstract

The BaTi0.98-xFe0.02NbxO3(0≤x≤0.08) ceramics were prepared by conventional solid state reaction processing. The crystal structure and dielectric properties of ceramic samples were studied by XRD, SEM, LCR analyzer. Defects configuration and defects energies were investigated by GULP software. The results indicate that ceramics transform from hexagonal to tetragonal barium titanate with Nb doping content increasing, meanwhile, the second phase ( Ba6 Ti17 O40 ) appears and tetragonality increases when x≤0.02. With the increase of Nb concentration, the dielectric peak temperature shifts to lower temperature, and the relaxation is observed when x≥0.04. The dielectric constant increases first when x≤0. 02, and then decreases when x≥0. 03. The main defects are barium vacancies, oxygen vacancies, and complex defects formed by substitutional isovalent ions in BaTi0. 98-x Fe0. 02 Nbx O3 ceram-ics by molecular dynamics defect simulation. With Nb doping content increasing, the concentration of defect dipoles, polar nanore-gions ( PNRs) , and relaxation degree increase.
