Effect of Hydrophobic Properties of Zinc Surface on Vibrio parahaemolyticus Biofilm Formation

Abstract
To investigate the effects of hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties of zinc surface on Vibrio parahaemolyticus biofilm growth, the zinc surface with different hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties were prepared by different processing methods. The Vibrio parahaemolyticus biofilms were cultured by slice method, and the growth situation of the biofilms were observed by crystal violet staining method, scanning electron microscope method and ultrasonic-plate method. The results show that the Vibrio parahaemolyticus biofilm grows slow on the hydrophilic zinc surface. High hydrophobic properties of material surface can contribute to inhibit the formation of Vibrio parahaemolyticus bioflims.关键词
