Abstract

The stage as novice university teachers is not only the beginning stage of their whole teaching career and professional development, but also the foundation and initial process of the socialization of their teaching role.They are faced with some common problems in this process: lack of understanding of teaching roles leading to lack of awareness of socialization of teaching roles, inadequate understanding of the relationship between teaching and scientific research leading to slow down of socialization of teaching roles, inadequate knowledge of educational and teaching conditions leading to incomplete fulfillment of teaching roles, and lack of learning skills or unreasonable use leading to poor effect of teaching role practice. Considering the sustainable development of newly recruited teachers' profession and the continuous improvement and optimization of teaching quality in colleges and universities, it is necessary to vigorously promote the socialization of their teaching roles. It can be done by balancing the relationship between teaching and scientific research, implementing the teacher 's learning system, strengthening the pertinence of training, guaranteeing the effective teaching environment and attaching importance to the developmental function of teaching evaluation.
