摘要

Abstract

TALIS2013 data show that there is a big difference between"work hours"and"actual teaching hours"of teachers during a complete calendar week in different reglions/countries.The work hours of Shanghai teachers are slightly higher than the international average, but"teaching hours"is at the bottom in all countries/regions.On the basis of the heterogeneous theory of work time, this paper systematically analyzes the information and connotation of TALIS2013 data from the perspective of cultural characteristics, teachers'teaching beliefs and the educational system level.Based on the"Job Demand-Resource"model, this paper explains the teachers'burden in Shanghai from two aspects:the quantity and quality of teachers'work time.Finally this paper puts forward some suggestions for the allocation of teachers'work hours.
