Abstract
Toclarifywhatsubjectmatterknowledge(SMK)teachersareexpectedtohaveisofsignificancetoteacheredu-cation.Despitethematurityofresearchonteachers’SMKstructureingeneralterms,studiesofteachersofspecificsubjects variesinlevels,withmathmaticsasoneofthedominantfield.AsforEnglishteachers,thereisnouniversalSMKstructure tobegeneralized.Thispapercomesupwithageneralframeworkofteachers’SMKbyreviewingmajorstudiesinthisfiled. Consequently,consideringfeaturesofEnglishsubject,thispapertriestoconstructatentativemodelofEnglishteachers’ SMKstructure,analyzingwhatmakesthestructureaswellasrelationshipsamongitsconstituents.关键词
