摘要

Abstract

In a certain sense, emphasis on performance management is a common feature and trend in the field of world public management.On the one hand, this is partly due to greater social performance pressures on expenditure of public finances.On the other hand, is the real needs of public sector to improve their management level and effi-ciency.However, the implementation of performance management in the field of public education is facing challenges andcontroversy, such as the value orientation of education,the concealment of labor, lag of effectiveness.To improve the performance management of education, we must start from the characteristics of education performance, respect the value orientation of educational performance, distinguish explicit performance and implicit performanceand build a performance management mechanism based on the value and mission of education, which is suitable for all kinds of educational activities.
