Abstract
The strong rise of ChatGPT has triggered a huge change in the field of education.While artificial intelligence technology improves the quali-ty and efficiency of teachers'teaching,it also brings brand-new challenges to teachers'development.Teachers'status as authority of knowledge has been shaken,and teachers'roles in the teacher-student relationship have to transform.Promoting the reinvention of teachers'roles has become an impor-tant task that needs to be accomplished urgently,and should be focused on the following aspects.Teachers should play the role of"facilitators"of students'independent learning based on the reform of knowledge production brought by ChatGPT;become"analysts"of the students'personality devel-opment by rationally using the data collection function of ChatGPT;become the"trainer"of students'higher-order thinking through the innovation in teaching of knowledge and training of thinking;become the moral"leaders"and emotional"companions"for students,based on the deep-rooted needs of comprehensive education;and become the"co-operator"in sharing and communication by using the remote communication technology of ChatGPT to break the time and space barriers.关键词
