摘要

Abstract

In this experiment,the bacteriostatic effect of dandelion leaf extract on four dental caries bacteria in oral cavity was studied.The effect of dandelion leaf extract on the growth of dental caries bacteria was discussed.It provided the basic theory for the development and utilization of dandelion phenols in the two directions of medicine and food.The bacteriostatic effect of dandelion leaf extract on Streptococcus mutans,Streptococcus sobrinus,Streptococcus oralis and Porphyromonas gingivalis was measured by Agar-diffusion method.The minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)and minimum bactericidal concentration(MBC)were determined.The results showed that there were significant differences in the bacteriostatic effect of different concentrations of dandelion leaf extract on caries bacteria,and the concentrations of dandelion leaf extract were positively correlated with the bacteriostatic effect.
