Abstract

The gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)were prepared by using the extract of waste green kumquat peel as reducing agent and protective agent,the green preparation system of AuNPs was optimized and AuNPs catalytic performance was evaluated.The synthesized AuNPs were characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy,laser particle size distribution and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and the preparation system was optimized by screening temperature,time and stirring speed.The results showed that the UV-vis spectra of the prepared AuNPs had a characteristic absorption peak at 536 nm,and the laser particle size distributor showed that the particle size of the prepared AuNPs mainly ranged from 2 to 15 nm,with an average particle size of 6.51 nm.FTIR confirmed that the reductants in the green kumquat peel extracts participated in the AuNPs green synthesis.Furthermore,the synthesized AuNPs showed strong catalytic activity for degradation of 4-nitrophenol(4-NP)to p-aminophenol(4-AP).And the optimal preparation conditions were as follows:the concentration of orange peel extract was 50%,the reaction time was 15 min,the reaction temperature was 30℃,and the stirring speed was 1300 r/min.In summary,the preparation process of AuNPs was easy to operate,economic and environment friendly,it will have broad application prospect and practical value in food industry,environmental protection,biology and medicine field.
