Rapid determination of bisphenol A and nonylphenol in infant formula milk powder by UPLC-MS/MS

Abstract
The establishment of ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry for the rapid determination of bisphenol A(BPA)and nonylphenol(NP)can enhance the risk monitoring of contaminated items in infant formula.The infant formula milk powder were extracted twice with acetonitrile,and the impurities were removed and the infant formula milk powder were concentrated by freezing,centrifugation,and nitrogen blowing,etc.The samples were separated by C18 chromatographic column,and 0.05%ammonia water(v/v)and methanol were used as mobile phases for gradient elution,and the SRM mode was used for BPA and NP determination,the internal standard method was used for BPA and NP quantification,and the standard curve comparison method was used to evaluate the matrix effect.The results showed that the detection limit of BPA and NP was 1 μg/kg,and the limit of quantification of BPA and NP was 2 μg/kg;the linear range was 0.5~50 ng/mL;The recoveries of BPA and NP were 85.04%~109.08%and 84.52%~113.32%,respectively;the instrumental precision of BPA and NP were 5.65%and 3.86%,respectively,and the method precision was 5.04%and 3.10%respectively;matrix effect investigation showed that NP had no matrix effect,while BPA had obvious matrix inhibition(ME=60.2%),therefore,it needed to be corrected with an internal standard.The method has low limit value,short analysis time and simple pretreatment,and is suitable for the simultaneous determination of BPA and NP in infant formula milk powder.关键词
